Turquoise on sterling silver chain
A small Mojave purple turquoise cabochon hung on a sterling silver chain. This turquoise has been stabilised, which means it has previously been subjected to a treatment to strengthen it (see link below for more information). As the name suggests this is purple in colour with a hint of a coppery matrix in places.
